TRANSFER OF VEHICLES
As a rule it is necessary for you to re-register your vehicle when you move from one RTO jurisdiction to another.
The following documents are required when you undertake to re-register your vehicle.
  • Original Certificate of registration.
  • Application for registration of vehicle.
  • Application for assignment of new registration mark for removal of a vehicle to another state.
  • Application for grant of No-Objection certificate (in duplicate).
  • Valid Insurance Photocopy.
  • Valid Pollution certificate photocopy.
  • Vehicle for verification.
  • Affidavit.
  • Address Proof.

    The fees that the RTO charges are:
    • Four Wheelers Rs 1000/-.
    • Two Wheelers Rs 100/-.
