Registration Of New Vehicles
According to RTO guidelines a vehicle that has not been registered is not allowed to ply on the streets.

The forms required for vehicle registration are:

  • Form No 20.
    Ensure that the dealer from whom you bought the vehicle completes the following formalities in all respects.
  • Form No 21.
  • Form No 22.
  • Invoices from the Manufacturer and dealer.
  • Insurance of Vehicle.
  • Address proof of registered owner.
In case you are buying your vehicle through Hire purchase or leasing,there are some additional forms that you will have to fill.

The following documents are required in order to apply for hire purchase or leasing.

  • Original Certificate of registration.
  • Hire purchase/Leasing form in duplicate.(Signed by both parties)
  • Confirmation letter from financier.
  • Valid insurance copy.
  • Valid pollution certificate copy.
The charges for this are ::
  • Four wheeler Rs 1000/-.
  • Two wheeler Rs 100/-
